    Hello Nighthawk,

If you are referring to our promo offer, then it is for the popularization of the service and allowing more people to receive quality data at a reasonable price.

We do not need data quality managers - our data processing algorithms substitute them! Plus, we're connected to the exchanges' infrastructure directly, what speaks for high quality of the data.

    Hello asymptote,

We do offer these indexes via the API connection. Check this page to learn more: https://www.dxfeed.com/consolidated-data-feed/calculated-data/
Please bear in mind that this data is not available in 3rd party platforms (like ATAS) at the moment.

    Hello bergstyle,

The answer you have received is correct. Let me elaborate. API data access is not a part of the Retail data services (https://get.dxfeed.com) that we offer via 3rd party partner platforms. API data access is a dedicated service that is tailored individually upon request. You can get full details from our Sales team: https://www.dxfeed.com/contact-us/

  6. Just my opinion, but you'd get far more interest without making people work for the API details/pricing.

Agree with this. Would much rather see pricing for API access and historic data than some new charting platform.

    Dear fellow traders,

Let me describe the difference between our retail solutions and API access, and why there is no way to specify the price for the API access right away.

Our retail products have a fixed feature set (market, symbols and data fields), that is why clear and competitive pricing for them is available to everyone on our website. We have designed these “plug and play” solutions for our clients’ convenience. We plan to expand this practice on our future retail products as well.

Right now API data access works a bit differently. In one of my previous replies I have mentioned a “dedicated service that is tailored individually upon request” for a reason. It simply works exactly as it was described - API access is not a universal product, it is very personal. We work with each client individually to give him the data he demands. Every API user has his personal endpoint, tailored for his needs: with the access type of his choice, fully customized list of symbols, events and data types. The number of the combinations is unlimited, but even offering that big variety of options, our turnaround for the API access request evaluation is just 1-2 days, which is unprecedented in our industry.

Speaking about offering the API access as a plug and play solution with a fixed feature set/price – this is something that we are already working on. Most likely it becomes available for FX and Crypto products first.

Feel free to provide more details about the products, markets and data fields that you need. We will definitely consider all received feedback when working on our roadmap.

  10. Appreciate the reply. Still a bit convoluted and requires way too much brain damage just to get a rough idea of fit (both data and price-wise). There are also concerns about your ability to service an untold number of custom connections; it's not necessarily the end of the world, but it certainly doesn't lend itself to increased efficiency when it comes to troubleshooting, etc.. Anyway, I'm not trying to give you a hard time, just some honest feedback. I think your set up and the lack of transparency is going to get you eliminated almost immediately from a majority of otherwise interested customers. Regardless, best of luck.
