Kathy Lien's book consisted of generally solid information, but nothing earth shattering. Though there was at least one (if not two or more) practical, step-by-step suggestion(s) that readers could actually implement which would supposedly result in profits more often than not.

It's always nice when someone who supposedly knows about trading offers a specific plan of action rather than simply state principles and argue the theoretical.

The other book I checked out was this one, which I am going to take a look at right now...

It seems like the above book might be a publication of xtrade.com. It starts with ten trading rules and then explains/describes ten different "high-probability" trade setups, step-by-step, each using a particular set of indicators.

How thoroughly the reader will understand the reason(s) why each setup is supposed to work is not clear to me, given that I did not read this information very carefully. But, past experience has taught me not to trust most indicators anyway, so I question how much this even matters.

I thought reading books like the two mentioned above would be a mildly entertaining way to pass the time idly when I just want to relax, but it turns out that they kind of bore me. So, these will be the only two that I will look at, and I'll have to find something else to do when I feel like wasting time.

Someone gave you a pair of sandals made by G.H. Bass & Co, and the soles of these shoes are NOT wearing out. You need to check out their website the next time you are ready to buy some more footwear and purchase something else from them to see if ALL their shoes are just as good.

  4. You wear those Corny-as7 brown suede Sandals? uggggh, you couldn't pay me to wear those.

New Balance foam running shoes are comfortable, and stylish,
I literally feel like I can instantly walk a mile in these, and not complain or feel sore and tired,

No, I don't where those corny brown suede sandals. The corny black leather sandals I wear are not the ones pictured. I don't just "feel" like I could walk a mile in my shoes. I literally walk and/or run several miles a day in the shoes I wear. I'm glad you are so pleased with your shoes. I actually don't care what anyone else does. Other people can wear whatever shoes they like. It makes no difference to me. By the way, I wear different shoes for different purposes. And I couldn't give a lick about what is stylish and what is not. Such concerns have virtually no importance in my world at all.

Interesting... I'm seeing my take-profit targets being hit in less than 20 minutes, and in over seven hours. There seems to be no estimating how long it might take. (My first impression is that this is because it's sort of a luck of the draw as to whether you happen to be getting in at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of consolidation.)
