Maybe they are just newbies who want some easy money :D
Many teenagers dream to become rich, but I think it's normal - youthful maximalism and so on :)

  4. LOL, maybe you should carefully listen again to the point being CLEARLY made at 2.55min mark........

Especially the clarifying point at 3.20min mark.

Failing to understand the simple FACT that WE ALL have (self) limitations means YOU are suffering the Dunning-Kruger effect in your regard of yourself.

The smart are smart enough to know where they are dumb. The dumb are dumb enough to think they are smart.

  6. Exactly my point AND the point CLEARLY being made in this clip by Dunning....

"first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye"........

The thing you fail to grasp is that your nothing but the pot calling the kettle black..... Therefore demonstrating your suffering hard from the Dunning-Kruger effect yourself. Very willing to point out the perceived faults you think YOU see in others but failing to grasp YOUR own faults. This is the VERY definition of what the Dunning-Kruger effect describes.

If you watch the clip YOU linked again, Dunning CLEARLY warns the accuser of this very thing at about the 3.20min mark.

Those that live in glass houses........

  7. You are assuming I already did not know this ?

I am trading education buyer , I am a learner , I know nothing and I learn from you clever traders.

Am I too stupid to to know this or am I too intelligent to believe that I am not really that competent?

I am not claiming to be a professional trader or a succesful trader.

  8. No assumption needed. Your answers are the very proof.

IF you already knew it, why then do you then do it......

Exactly what Dunning warned about in the clip YOU linked to but you failed to heed his warning about "self"..... That's the WHOLE point of the Dunning-Kruger effect, its about the "self" failing to see SELF short falls, SELF error. Not having the skills or ability to SELF identify issues WITHIN.

You attempt to label others with the Dunning-Kruger but fail to understand it applies to the skills to SELF assess WITHIN. This failure is demonstrated proof that you don't understand the concept of SELF-ASSESSMENT failure and is proof of suffering from the Dunning-Kruger effect as Dunning CLEARLY warned the interviewer about in the link you linked to (Something it seems the interviewer himself also failed to understand the warning that Dunning was giving him).

A truly self aware person with the skills to self assess themselves and their own short falls would have no need to attempt to label others with a broad brush like you have as they would be all to aware of their OWN short falls and would instead spend the time focused on fixing or bettering their OWN self. They understand they must -
"first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye".

When you go around pointing out the speck in others eye, its all to easy to overlook your own plank. It might make you "feel" better about yourself in the short term but it doesn't actually address your OWN issues so that you can grow and move forward in our constantly evolving self growth.

Dunning-Kruger are pointing out the FAILURE to SELF assess in the less intelligent and the failure to properly self assess their true level by the highly intelligent in relation to the less intelligent.

The LESS intelligent think everyone else is stupid.
The HIGHLY intelligent think everyone is AS intelligent as themselves.

Here YOU are telling everyone how stupid THEY are...........
The VERY definition of the Dunning-Kruger effect. But you don't have the very skills needed to SELF assess so you end up in this circular logic loop your stuck in, instead attempting to assess and label OTHERS and totally missing its about the skills to SELF assess OURSELVES.

Those that have the necessary skills assess THEMSELVES.
Those that don't have the necessary skills assess OTHERS.

What's the point, its not as if you will ever understand any of this anyway as you don't have the very skills needed to self assess in the first place to identify where your own logic is failing............

  9. Again, further evidence of your failure.

    Dunning-Kruger put forth that -
"High-ability individuals may underestimate their RELATIVE competence and may erroneously assume that tasks which are easy for them are also easy for others.

RELATIVE..... Look up the definition of the word.

    It does NOT mean
    as you put forth.

NOT ONCE do Dunning-Kruger state that the "high-ability" believe they are "not really that competent"....... NOT ONCE!
Where did you get such an idea from??? You've made up your own definition to fit your own perception. This is NOT what Dunning-Kruger have put forth.

Words have meanings and they are important to understand. Failure to understand what words really mean results in failure to communicate and failure to understand whats actually being said. I'm starting to see why you are struggling to grasp the concept that Dunning-Kruger have put forth....
