You can easily delete Facebook and Twitter on Blackberry Classic. You could also look at Nokia E71, but with the email graphic attachments, you may not be able to scale them up to see minute details. Nokia E6 is the next step in connectivity and features support, but not as durable. Some networks dropped 2G support this year, so a lot of dumb phones are useless in USA (mostly AT&T and its MVNOs). All in all, they will push you sooner or later..
The positive aspect of Blackberry in my case: no more missed calls and ability to run your protected hotspot even on MVNOs that expressly against this and immediately block it on your Android or iPhone. yes, some of them still do this.

The dumb phones are going to stay in demand with the aging population.

I've been using a Samsung Fame for hotspot, better phones get detected and blocked, not the Fame unlimited hotspot :)

I'm ready to take this to the next level... bring back the pagers.

I don't have a good recommendation, but I would think blackberry also They are pretty small compared to these ridiculous things they call cell phones these days aren't they? If that's not good enough, you might be asking for too much in one device. I rock the nexus 5x, smallest phone with immediate android updates. I have ADD but thankfully never got into the social media thing after myspace.

Actually, the idea to kill all apps is not that bad. As a bonus, I get to keep non-ADD inducing stuff like GPS and calendar.

I bought cell phone in 2004 LG vx4500 flipphone, then bought a dozen of them on ebay for buck a piece as they only last 3 years, has small screen but can do internet for music I suppose, I got grandfathered into Verizon for $35 month unlimited talk/text for life, am going to leave it in my will, ROFLMAO. But screen is rather small for internet, and ya have to press "7" three times to get an "S" and yes I text a great deal, but am a dinosaur and iphones too frustrating for me.

  8. It sounds like you are looking for something called a "feature phone", not a "smart phone". Depending on where you live might you have more or less models to choose from. Good luck.

Yes, C and D here is like requiring you to do some smartphone really. I do not understand this at all. Just use cheapest option from what market proposes now and that's really it. I do not see how it will change, simple button phone from past but new - that's it.
