Trying to read / send email on old style feature phones is just damn right nasty. Nokia 3310 as a phone without D then a seperate 7" Tablet for Email activity maybe ?? or cheap Smart phone, do you need email all the time or leave this at home/office ??

BlackBerry is the inbetween, just not that small or great a battery life. HATE them personally but hey that's just me!!
My last Blackberry, a Blackberry Bold 9930, was actually a decent smart phone. I still miss the keyboard, but don't think I could go back after having an Android.
