Dude, Are you still trying to trade trends?

Discussion in 'Trading' started by MarketAddict, Sep 14, 2016.

  1. Bro relax.. How about try to ask questions before complaining.. First, let me say that this is the real world.. And unfortunately, the real world we live in has something that's called a "financial system".. It's one of the hardest system to crack.. It's built that way on purpose..The people that are in control don't wont to see the average Joe succeed.. The market is controlled.. It's not a free market.. It's a complex mathematical system. I'm not going to get into this because you probably wont believe me anyway..

Now back to trading.. The reason why things seem hard to you is because you haven't put in enough time.. Price patterns are real.. If you study the chart long enough you will start to see patterns that you will not find in any book..

Why do you think I started this thread? Because I wanted to warn people like yourself not to only focus on trends.. I want people to study chop, breakouts , and consolidation.. This is how you become a great trader.. The chart you had posted earlier was easy to read.. You see, if you just only study trends, it will be hard to read that chart.. This is the messages I'm trying to give people in this thread..

  2. So we are going back to constantly screen watching , for almost every move , almost every move can lead to the start of a set up/price pattern .This is trying to predict what the market will do next.I can go to the casino and bet on the form of the reds or blacks or bet on horses and the form of the horse trend. We are just gambling on horses , looking at their form.

I like to see my horses running fast , after I put my money on it.

You don't need to know what the market will do next , to make money. You have to have your own system , where you call the shots , your system determines when you enter the market , when you exit , the market can stuff it self. With options I can do this .

So I am now betting on the s and p , it makes first move , mr market calls the first shots it trends , I follow , then it chops out /stops out , finally the market cleans you out. This does not work. You are just playing into the market's game AND HEADING FOR DISASTER.

  8. The table on the roulette is giving 70% , it has many sequences on black ,tonight the trend is black, so If i bet on black tonight ,I should win .I see no difference here between gambling on roulette table trends and trend trading.Sequences black , black , red , black , black , black , red black ??.....?.Pattern is very tradeable.

Another table is giving outcome red , black , black , red , red , black , black , black , red .Is the pattern tradeable?

  9. That is true. I am a continual self improvement project. You, on the other hand are clearly at or near the top of the Forbes 400, or will be there very soon. You sound more adept at calling trends than Soros, who himself admitted continual insecurity in his ability to do so.

  10. Markets are constantly in a state of uncertainty and flux, and money is made by discounting the obvious and betting on the unexpected.
