Dual listed companies - where to find?

Discussion in 'Trading' started by Richard Dale, Apr 5, 2004.

  1. I'm looking to find a source of information to tell me which companies that are dual-listed. eg BHP Billiton (listed on London Stock Exchange and on Australian Stock Exchange), Progen (listed on NASDAQ and on Australian Stock Exchange).

Does anyone know a good place to find such a list?

    Thanks,
    Richard.

  2. Epsilon

use a stock screener and screen for exchanges

  3. Which "stock screener"? Could you please be a bit more specific.

eg. there are around 12000 listed stocks in USA, 2000 in Australia, about 3000 in London, 500 in Singapore etc.

Which software/web site do I just isolate those companies that trade on two (or more) exchanges?

    Thanks,
    Richard.

Go to multexinvestor.com (reuter's co). Navigate through to find "power screener".

    There you can do it.

    Good luck!

  5. Thanks Epsilon - a great resource from Reuters in that power screener facility.

It doesn't actually tell me dual listed stocks but at least I can query all stocks where the company is located in XYZ country and do a vague query there.

    Cheers,
    Richard.
