    originalskunk,
Yes exactly, nicely swept under the rug I feel. Doesn't do me any good for my 60 days of tick history though.

This has been my first really negative experience with DTN. They handled the situation promptly but lack adequate contingency plans and methods to deal with giving reliable backfill when the shit hits the fan. Their way of handling my concerns over the backfill loss was poor. Basically, they just told me lies to try and shut me up.

This whole problem arose because of some sort of changes they made in their own data distribution services. Totally a DTN problem.

Thats 1 strike against DTN in my books. See if they make it to 3.

  2. I use IQFeed and QuoteTracker.

Inexpensive, reliable, prompt (as in immediate) service.

Never had a problem with'em (or the add-ons designed to assist the individual retail trader which were designed for them).

The other side of the coin

  3. From what I hear around these parts, Interactive Broker should be able to take care of whatever you need ...

  4. Not an option JimmyJam, but thanks for the comment. I'm using bid/ask analysis quite extensively - just not the same with IB feed. I did try before coming to DTN.
