Here are my pics for today:

    Bought BWA @ 53.98 STOP at 51.75
    Bought ETN @ 75.71 STOP at 72.64
    Bought ABRX @ 15.51 STOP at 13.89

I will also follow TOO, AG, AFCI and FNM and see what they do overnight. There is no volume spike on these stocks but the charts look interesting. I want to follow up if there are situations where I could trade without a volume spike.

Good trading to all of you.

    Hi all,

These 3 positions did well, specially ETN. I made about 1$ per stock with this position. Good day!

Today I bought MATK and sold USPI and LH. I am not very happy about this position because I realized after taking it that these stocks are all in the healthcare sector. I should be more diversified. I think it is dangerous to hold stocks of the same sector.

    Hello to all

A while back Mike referred multiple ema lines such as 20/30 day lines, etc. I believe that crossing EMA lines is a great indicator of change in trend. However, I find that screening for stocks that have recently crossed ema lines is particularly challenging. By the time I get to them I am way behind. I would appreciate any thoughts on screens that could point the way.

    Thank you,

    Jorge

    Hi Mike,

Yes, I still trade. Unfortunately I don't always have time to post all my trades and I am not sure it is relevant for readers.

Tomorrow I am going on holiday. I am visiting a friend in Roma so I will not be trading. But I will come back soon and post a few trades.

What about you? How is your trading going?

    Hi Jorge,

I use StockWatchPro from www.crontech.com . You can use LiveChart for datafeed so all together it will cost you 50$/month. There is a 2 week trial at the moment so you can test it.

    Hi all,

I haven't posted for a long time. Initially I started this journal because I wanted to be more disciplined. I think I achieved this goal so this is the reason why I did not post lately.

However some friends of mine are interested in my trading methodology/log. I figured that I could post here again to keep everybody informed.

I changed my system a little bit. Lately, I made some profit. Nothing urge but just enough to set my mamximum position from 100 to 200 shares per stock. My risk management rule is still to keep the risk on any stock lower than 1% of my capital but I want to see my system making some money before taking more risk. One of the other things I changed is that I do not take a position on a trade that moved too much. There is more risk on these deals and I am more concerned now on the risk/return ratio than I used to be.

I hope somebody will benefit from these posts. Mike, mars22 are you still there?

I closed some positions today and here is my eod position:

    +50 HCR @ 24.59
    +200 IMMU @ 7.52
    +100 OMM @ 5.99
    +200 PCG @ 18.10

I am long 550 shares. I think the market will go up tomorrow but just in case I was looking for a stock to short sell. I should have short sold ACV, I missed it.

One of the other thing I changed in my system is that now I am more concerned about the overall market activity. I follow mainly the nasdaq.
