I was following some discussion on DSUP from another forum. They are a concrete supplies company, small market cap, highly leveraged. Today something unusual happened: big move up (>14%) on most volume the stock has shown to date since it started trading on the NASDAQ late last year. I am new-ish to trading, and I've never traded small market cap stocks. How can you interpret this kind of event, if at all? A big institutional buyer has arrived? Insider news triggering buying? I couldn't find any public information on them today that would trigger a big move like this. I'm tempted to try to daytrade this on momentum up over the next few days, but I'm just guessing. Any thoughts?
