In order to trade with WatcherPlus remotely, I use my DSL to connect to a VPN, which uses the DSL exclusively ie. I can't connect to the internet to use an analytical package with the DSL or even my dial-up 56K modem. I thought about getting cable, inserting another ethernet card into my PC, and using this to get access to my analytical package and other applications (I have a dual monitor configuration). Generally, traders use 2 PC's when trading remotely with this setup, but the tech guy said it might be possible. Does anyone have any idea?

    this should be possible...
but it may need some 'handwork' with the win98/2000 network-config...
    and i think you'll need a second network-card.

This is a strange setup you have. I would see if you can look into configuring your computer to access the internet with the DSL in addition to the VPN. I have DSL and Cable modem on my computer with two network cards, one for each. But I use cable as a backup, my computer doesn't access both connections simultaneously.
