Drug based economy. Why not?

  1. Legalizing marijana could possibly be a good thing.

Prices would collapse, so criminals are no longer interested. However government can tax marijana bigtime, like a 100% tax, doubling the price. This can lead to 20 billion a year income, just like with cigarettes and alcohol.

and just like cigs , where you can't just light one up wherever you want. Pot could have even more stringent regulations...

  3. The pharmaceutical industry took over from the Cocaine Cowboys. I have multiple drug stores within walking distance from me. CVS and Walgreens are very popular. They dispense a mixture of everything you can imagine. All perfectly legal.

  4. If we spent just half of the Law Enforcement Narcotics Enforcement budgets on keeping our streets safe, there'd be a cop on every other corner, 24/7.

Not to mention the lives of Officers and innocents saved. No more drug shootings or kidnappings.
Phoenix AZ averages almost 1 kidnapping a day from drug gangs.
    Yup, you read that right.
    1 a day.

  5. U.S. is the biggest illegal drug market now. Some foreign countries will follow U.S. legalizing suit. Who can make the drugs cheaper and more abundant, not U.S..:D

  6. Pot of water.

    One stick of butter.

    One ounce of cannabis.

    Boil for 20 mins.

    Strain thru cheese cloth.

Put container in the fridge overnight.

Remove hardened butter from the top and discard water.

Use butter for cooking anything.....roughly 3.5 grams cannabis for every table spoon butter. 1/3 of a tablespoon will do the job for most everybody including me who has been a daily user since 94.

    Mmmmmm....

  7. It's already a drug based economy. Caffeine, nicotine and alcohol leading the pack. Prescription drugs not far behind. Weed, while having it's issues is no where near addictive enough for the big boys to market. Opiates are too additive and lead to early death. Not profitable enough long term. The big boys like shit they can hook you on as a child and keep it coming at ya' for decades.
