She came back in after a stroll on the beach and noticed that her feet, and her pants below the knees had gotten nearly black. On complaining to the staff she was informed that it's common for oil residue from gulf oil pumping to accumulate in their sand.
Per day? Yesterday I heard it was 40 thousand per hour. Then (on NPR lol) I heard that with the second leak it was 5 times the original estimated rate. I hope it is per day. After Katrina they really don't need this down there.
Would be interesting if someone interviews a few Palin fans living in the areas that will be destroyed on how they feel about her ideas about offshore drilling.
