Dr. Oz Shouldn’t Be a Senator—or a Doctor

  1. How Fetidman coming along with that debate schedule?

Last I heard, he had agreed to some time past the middle of October when- just coincidently- half the mail in ballots would already be sent in.

Fetterman agreed to the original October debate which is hosted by the same commission in Pennsylvania which has hosted the Senate debates for decades and is broadcast on local TV across the state.

Fetterman did not not agree to Dr. Oz's proposal to be in a debate hosted by extreme right-wing moderators which is only broadcast on cable -- nor should he have. Especially seeing the mocking conditions that Oz put in his debate proposal --- everyone knew Oz's proposal was not to be taken seriously and was only meant to demean his opponent.

  3. Okay. Did he agree to some other location if oz's does not work.

Or he is one and done in October?

Nevermind. His campaign has figured out that not-appearing works for him. They just want the voters to go for a generic dem ticket and not mess that up by seeing Fetidman in action, or should that non-action. And please, let's not hear about "he has campaigned here and there." Just scary little pit stops where no one could figure out what he was saying and he took no questions even when asked questions.

Tell me -- when was the last time in Pennsylvania state history when a U.S. Senate debate was held in September?

When was the last time in Pennsylvania state history when there was more than one U.S. Senate debate?

  5. I see. You have migrated over from "he does not want to do a cable tv debate" to "we only do one debate in PA and I am sticking to it because he doesn't look that good in his sorry arse condition with his sorry arse commie and adolescent adult views."

So ever since Television was invented -- Pennsylvania has held one U.S. Senate debate in October in the general election. And two debates (one Republican, one Democratic) in April for the U.S. Senate primaries.

Why should any candidate agree to additional debates beyond what has traditionally been done in the state?

  7. I see. In getting out to make your case with voters, a candidate should just meet the bare minimum, even if said candidate has been off the trail for a long period. That's probably appropriate for Fetidman. If he is elected he will strive to find what the bare minimum requirements and expectations are.

John Fetterman- TOO SICK TO CAMPAIGN - BUT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE SENATOR.

Yup. he is a minimum expectations kind of guy.

Good luck with your assertions. Sounds like Dr. Oz's failed talking points. You know -- where the good doctor mocks anyone who ever has gotten sick. Because certainly the natural remedies promoted by Dr. Oz will cure everything.

Let me know, why should a candidate who is up by 12 to 18 points in all the polls even deign to debate his opponent who is a joke rather than a serious candidate? Are we going to simply hear Dr. Oz pitch more unproven cures on the debate stage so he can grift a few more dollars from the MAGA crowd. Remember to order your hydroxychloroquine from Dr. Oz now to protect yourself from Covid.

    Overnight

It is both...The generally accepted idea is that was a Japanese immigrant in California who came up with our modern form of the cookie with a fortune inside.
