I think this seat will give the Republicans the edge now. They already would have it if either AZ wasn't awful or GA wasn't a complete distaster. NH is very winnable as well, but he's just as bad as the AZ candidate in a bluer state. I think CO is hard, because the GOP is damned if they support Trump with moderates, damned if they don't with the base. So...as of today I'm predicting 0 pickups for the Democrats and 1 (NV) for the Republicans to give them a 51-49 edge. Control will come down to AZ, GA, NV, PA, WI, and OH. If NC or FL come into play then the Democrats will sweep those 6 states. Ditto for Republicans with NH or CO.
Oz is not fit to be a doctor. Yet another of many examples. Medical organization banned Dr. Oz from presenting research for two years after shoddy heart surgery study https://www.rawstory.com/mehmet-oz-2658578469/ Pennsylvania Senate hopeful Mehmet Oz was banned for two years from presenting research at the American Association for Thoracic Surgery conference after submitting a shoddy study that he ultimately was forced to withdraw. The Washington Post reports that experts at the AATS raised "questions about the strength of the data used by Oz, a cardiothoracic surgeon, to reach an important medical conclusion" about undergoing a cardiac bypass with the aid of a heart-lung machine. According to the Post, Oz based the conclusions of his research on a study that featured just 56 test subjects, which was far too low of a number to reach a definitive conclusion about such important research. Bruce W. Lytle, an AATS official involved in the decision to ban Oz, said he made the decision based on "making it absolutely clear that the presentation should reflect the methodology as described in the abstract." Ivan Oransky, co-founder of Retraction Watch, told the Post that such bans on researchers are rare, particularly if they involve high-profile researchers such as Oz. “It’s something they take very seriously and reserve for fairly significant issues, whether they’re behavioral or issues of scientific integrity,” Oransky said.
Things tend to happen together. If there's a surprise somewhere it's usually an indication of a wave. If the Dems won NC it's likely they also won the 6 tossup states. Vice-versa if the GOP wins NH. An upset in either of those 2 states would be a better indicator of which party will control the other seats than any poll that's taken place thus far.
Total cringe. And yes, I remember the original Mean Joe Greene ad. But this looks like it was made by someone with a betamax camera in the basement of an abandoned factory on a $10 budget.
