was there a short signal on 10th April before or after the market close? I don't remember there is one when i checked at around 1am on the 11th April but today the dowstomper said there is a short signal on the 10th april. Anyone knows when is the signal being generated or confirmed?
No, the short signal for the 10th did not show up until noon the next day, the 11th, after the market had sold off. This makes four singals in a row that have been backdated since I started following it. As I have posted before, dowstomper is a complete swindle.
Emilio i think you have got it wrong again. The signal did show on the site, 4-5 hours before the market opened(well thats the time i first saw it), not the "current signal" link but on the main link, the one with the bar chart. I am absolutely sure about that because i took a short spreadbetting position soon as i saw it. I am just wondering why are you keep trying to discredit the site with negative comments and false information?? If you simply missed it, i apologise, but if you don't follow the signals and you think Dowstomper is garbage why do you keep posting here? Move on!! To tell you the truth, i don't trust free signal sites, one day are here and the next are not. I personally would like to follow Dowtrader but the past 3-4 months the results have not been good. But the fact is the signals on Dowstomper have been very good at the moment, so benefit from it while it lasts.
Wrong. At 9:00 am EST 4/11 the signal still read: "long 2007-04-02 at 12,382, stop at 12,162 (trade still open)" The chart on the signal page at that time was two days behind. You are a shill. Four of your five posts have been on this thread. Post your Metastock code for the indicator and let's see if the trades match up. We can pursue this as far as you like. The dowstomper.com crew are scammers and you are their shill.
I am not here to defend anyone, i just say it as it is and If you want proof visit the Dowtrader forum, http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/dowTrader/ ,where the issue about the signal has been discussed and proven, here are some of the posts... ____________________________________________________ 1102 From: "May Lin" <mayyuanlin@...> Date: Thu Apr 12, 2007 4:55 am Subject: Re: Re: Trading? meiyuan0424 Offline Send Email Invite to Yahoo! 360° I checked DowStomper at Apr.11th 3:00am EST by clicking the 'Current Signal' link. It indeed changed the signal to 'Short'. So I went to short before the market open this morning. Which looks like it was, thanks to you and couple of other memebers. Anybody might suggest a time to check it? Would it be around say 8 or even 9am before every market open? Sorry for panic and confusion in my previous message. Cheers. ____________________________________________________ #1104 From: "ems700" <ems700@...> Date: Thu Apr 12, 2007 4:01 pm Subject: RE: Re: Trading? ems700 Offline Send Email Invite to Yahoo! 360° Sounds like they are waiting for the foreign markets to trade and to see how the futures are reacting before they put out a signal. Randy ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now Emilio where is your proof??? Lets see who is the one that has commercial interests in telling lies. I am a member of Dowtrader, i paid £96 ($189) and i think their signals WILL get more profitable but i like to say things as they are, at the MOMENT Dowstomper is doing better. This is my last post on this mater, if you want more time to waste join the yahoo group.
Even if they do post a signal just before the market opens instead of after if opens, the problem and misrepresentation is that they say the signal occurred at the close of the previous day. I have my doubts their postdated signals would ever occur if the overnight market does move in their favor. In fact, a pretty good scam is to only wait for decent overnight moves to occur, then post a track record showing that you reversed positions already at yesterday's close. I'm not saying that this is how they do all their trades, but the evidence so far looks pretty bad. I will not be wasting any more time with them.
You might all want to have a look at the discussion on the Trade2Win boards re these systems. One forum thread is: http://www.trade2win.com/boards/showthread.php?t=19893 There are others.
