I wish you well and hope crypto will give you financial security.

Me, I now live a very simple life, no more Lambo, mansion, crypto or Renoir just happy to still be alive. :D

I don't know why the critics have so much fear of the word bitcoin

It gives them comfort to change it to crypto

Funny, had the exact same experience with the minidisc. It did shaped my experiences a bit by never diving/investing too soon in ‘new’ tools or hypes, but go for the more established and mainstream ones.

"An unopened, original Apple iPhone from 2007 fetched nearly $200,000 at auction. The 4 GB first-generation iPhone sold for $190,372, blowing past sales estimates of $50,000 to $100,000. The sale price is more than 317 times the iPhone's original price of $599. (Jul 17, 2023)"

    Better than owning AAPL shares.

This brings up (ot) an idea I have been spouting off about now for at least 3 years and apparently some company is acting on and making money.

Smart phones in classrooms. It's stupid, but most schools lack the authority due to parental pressure (for good reason), they want their kids to have a phone with them at all times when at school. Who can blame them. But why not mass produce the most basic of cell-phones that there is... they would cost next to nothing, team up with the major wireless providers to dual-enable the account of the smart phone to the generic flip-phone... and send the kids to school with that. Leave the smart phone and all the bs associated with it at home.

Anyway, glad to see some entrepreneur out there is doing it... and allegedly kicking ass.
