No change. No Short entry yet. Take the SHORT the instant the 60-min. uptrendline shown, breaks. STOP goes over the TOP.

How's that gold bear market call working out for ya deadbeat? http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=205231
While we are waiting for Dow 60-min. uptrendline to break and give me my first SHORT entry, here is something to give some thought to .... there is a thread in Trading asking about Gold versus Dow. I'll answer it here - and the reason I answer it is because it is such an important concept - however not as Gold versus Dow, rather as Dow versus Gold = Dow priced in ounces of Gold. This ratio alone answers all the threads on how out of balance things have gotten and that when it catches up, payback time will be merciless. We got a taste of this in 2008. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Now pull up your quarterly chart of the Dow Jones and superimpose it. You will immediately notice that the Dow Jones ALWAYS has followed the direction and trend of Dow priced in Gold either immediately or with a lag. Now see the duration of the current lag. There will be Hell to pay when the Nominal Dow OBEYS the castrating call of Dow priced in gold Another thing to note is that the value of the Dow in gold is NOW even lower than it was at the start of the GREAT DEPRESSION Dig?
Now dig this - I left the bigger shocker for last ...... When was the Dow's most recent major low? Answer: March 2009. And since then its gone up huge, near vertical, right? Now watch how Dow priced in gold daily timeframe has done since March 2009. Can't get it up hardly even begins to describe the lethargy. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
