  1. This is the kind of shit an american woman lays on a fella all the time - then threatens to leave you.

I've always handled it the same way, "how soon can you leave?"

Then the bitch never ever leaves!

But me? I go put it elsewhere until she gets the message and splits.

  2. Get a load of the splendor of ET. One fckin loser after another.

And someone asked me how I could be so happy that my country the USA is going to the dogs?

Good, I said. Lets' cull and get rid of the idiots and then the new bullmarket will begin.

America only needs the top 20 million people. The rest are the fckin bottom of the barrel. And they're ALL here!!!!!

  7. JSSPMK

    JSSPMK

Hey come on now, play nice ;)

I will tell you that my opinion on overall market direction will sometimes vary from current position. I am more interested in range expansion.

It is looking different now compared to last week's close. I posted on ESJ yesterday that I do think that current rejection of weekly 20 & 50 averages puts us back into re-testing 100 average or ~1000 ES. So I am happy to confirm that I do support your call, again. The prodigal son returns ;).

  8. DB the only one you have to worry about is me. All I do is make money for ET readers. All I do is spit out good ideas. Professors don't get paid very much and alas we all know the saying about teachers... those that can do, do-- the rest teach about it. I figured you were self taught like me. I have never read one book on investing.

Even though I come here to teach I don't consider myself a teacher. I may soon become a mentor but not a teacher. I am a practitioner. There even is a job at hedge funds for the few people like me that are out there. Carnival Barker it might be called, idea man, mad man-- a guy with no series 7, a guy who just makes up a weekly list of hot ideas and sends them upstairs for the quants to play with.

TA is but a tool don't forget that DB. You must broaden your horizon and scope a bit.
In the end fundamental always beats TA, but TA can tell you exactly when to act on that fundamental idea.~stoney

  10. Stoney, were you not in this thread, I'd have died of boredom within days. :)

That you make money for yourself and others is very clear to me. I'm happy for you. :)

Yes, I'm self-taught 100%. Even picked out the books to learn from by my lonesome self. :)

My impression about teachers, professors is a little different than yours ... I love them all, dearly. Their dedication and hardwork and often sacrificing free time to sit with a student in trouble is almost saintly. Without them where would we be?

Practitioner, that's me too. I'm not a teacher. Easy to observe that I don't have the patience. I'm doing my internship at ET. The only one I'm teaching is ME. If others gain from it that's a beautiful thing for me for I am not a selfish person.

your comment about fundamental and TA deserves a deeper answer ... next post.

    :)
