  1. Well our smart allecky sell of LLEN the other day is not looking as smart as they have dropped a 10K and raised numbers for the second time in about a week. LLEN is running hard at $11.00.

KEM looks good Real Time: 3.56 Up 0.25 (7.55%) 3:38PM EDT. 16 cents or whatever doesn't seem like a lot but we'll take it.

UTEK pulled in on cue about 55 cents you might of gotten $17.90 we were looking for more like $17.30-$17.60.... still a possibility.

PPO got a mention for downside but holding well above a 50 day in IBD.

    GAME looks real good.

Fascinating sell off in the clean energy gas names CLNE WPRT. CLNE holding up better.PPO serves elec car market so getting a whiff of that. The new slim downed energy bill not so great for these names REFR down 9%!

The strongest stock right now is pre paid cal;ling card play IDT. It just looks like it wants even more. Little scary a cult IBD name.

Chinas tech daily had this about GAME-

China's Shanda Games To Launch Products For iPhone, iPad In 2010
    June 28, 2010 |

According to Tan Qunzhao, chairman and CEO of the Chinese online game developer and operator Shanda Games, the company plans to launch several games for Apple's iPhone handsets and iPad tablet computers in the third quarter of 2010.

According to reports in local media, Tan explained that these games will mainly target overseas users. Because Apple has smooth global issuance channels, it will be easier for Shanda Games' entry into a global environment by launching games for Apple's products.

He also predicted that Shanda Games' overseas revenue will be doubled in 2010 and its overseas revenue is expected to account for about 10% of the company's total revenue in two years. In addition, the company has been seeking investment and acquisition opportunities, especially in the emerging gaming sector.

Shanda Games' performance report showed that its net profit in the fourth quarter of 2009 increased by 44% year-on-year to CNY415 million.

    >>>>And this Dragon Vally game of theirs is the number 1 game now apparently.

I think we buy GAME here too @ $6.90 and continue to track

    a) UTEK & b) FNSR & c) IDT & d) PPO

and that would pretty much set me up for this little 2 week vacation ~stoney

Yes, but even with that last lower low, the trend change is not in place until there is a failure to achieve a higher high. So, the S&P could still see 1170 or so and fail there. Not a prediction, but an acknowledgement. The OP is so obviously green as a trader. The locomotive eventually stops and then reverses, but flinging yourself in front of the train such as this is wrong thinking, not to mention the crazy bravado and muddled thinking.

What? Blood level in your THC stream??

  4. My blood work is for the most part pretty good. Some of the obvious stuff sugars glucose and Chollesteral all in line. Two things bother me one is a reading of Lyme of 0.76 with a reference range of 0.00-0.90. That's right up against the fringe. I've had Lyme bad before so once you get it there may always be a marker for it. You just wouldn't want to let that slip into the nervous stream I've heard stories. The other number is really too high and that is Neutrophils Absolute. This is a white blood cell sort of thing fighting a bacteria infection which I have on my leg so I shouldn't be that surprised but when you go on the net they scare the shit out of you about cancer markers and other radical ideas. Could also be the dreaded stress. For someone who basically works two or three days a week I don't know where this stress comes from but I have to admit I have it I can get all worked up (and the feet tingly) just arguing with the wife at a food store. Anyway tomorrow I see a neurologist the more I think about it my neck goes numb sometimes. And I crack it.
Old football thing perhaps or just the cracking I do. I want to be happy it's not pre diabetes because my mom yells at me when I drink those yummy big glass cokes all the time but this trip to the Dr and then to the other guy to discuss this blood test 2 docs in a day.... This is not a good day for a chap with White Coat Syndrome.

Oh and that stiff drink. I ordered a bloody merry and they said you do know we make it with beer. Noooo I didn't. No damn drink for me.~stoney

IMO 1170 likely if weekly closes above 20 average, so far a rejection of 20.

  6. Will have to revisit CLNE in the morn & WPRT. Was the energy bill good for them or not!

Visa Vi GAME-- The very idea of buying into one of these Chinese game portals within the time frame of the world cup may prove to be problematic. Those were a lot of eyeballs distracted. Luckily no Asian team did that well which brings us to the hottest game now DRAGON NEST. OOOOOOO AHHHHH.

    > On July 22 GAME went beta with the Dragon Nest and the phone has been ringing off the hook. It's the most requested and the most downloaded. It's a 3D GAME! Oooooo ahhhhhhh. In this part of investing you measure Peak Concurrent Users (PCU's) and Dragon Nest has over 400,000 of these PCU's to sell a bunch of virtual crap to. It's the top debut of a game in 2010 and if you're like me, this is probably the first you have heard about it.

GAME was spun out of Shanda! SNDA! You can also measure search numbers through BIDU and I'm told they are off the hook. More people are searching for info about Dragen Nest than the former top game Cross Fire (no idea).

I've been through this area of investing many times. Had good luck with ASIA not really a game site and stubbed my toe twice with Gigamedia. It appears to me though that GAME has game.~stoney

  8. Now we are getting into wave theory! Well if the fibs don't work keep looking.
Notice the higher lows in your chart and notice your trend line-- it stops at 10,400-- whoops back to fib theory as we struggled to come out of the REAL correction/death spiral 10,380 area was A REAL & SIGNIFICANT FIB LINE IN THE SAND-- once we finally comfortably crossed that line all the latest fear and mongering has been just that. As long as the market stays within a few days of 10,380 and as long as Apple stays above $210 and closer to $250 that's all you have to know about the market-- we are walking up.

The way I see things unfolding from here is as follows- the preferred theory is that the market continues to drift up slowly all summer and when the Pro's return from the beach there will be a SEVERE & TRAGIC rush for performance I could see 10% upside just in the months of Sept, Oct alone. If we can drift up 7% as we hit Nov election cycle we will be up approx 14%-17% for the year! Then the election jitters and the fears of taxes etc.... money could be taken off the table in early November to avoid 9% downside. Once the dust settles and America has a stalemate Dems in the White house and Repub's having more say in the Senate we ought to rally hard through December. That is the preferred theory.

The second scenario pushes things ahead a little faster, I have been awaiting this next employment report very intently. Each week I'm hoping it's on Friday, I feel we are ready to truly show some hiring strength. All the Census folks have gone on the doll by now and the loss of their jobs and their adds to the unemployment line have played with our numbers. I've been discussing manpower's earnings with my peeps it showed very strong temp hiring and real hiring in Europe... I thought we had to trade down because Europe was is in so much trouble...

At some point we will sit back and realize we have been lied to one time after another, first it was dear Iceland, home of vodka and little else we had to panic because of dear Iceland. That was a full year and a half ago, then of course we had to fret over the hard workers in Turkey. The amount of rugs sold into the US has dipped and olives are hard to find. Then China has slowed!!!! call in the panic police China is only growing at.... what 10%!~!!!!! Now some want to knock India. What a joke, India is the place to be for the next ten years, in fact my son's whole college fund is socked in India and doing quite well.

The tug of war in the market is bracketed on one side by rich folks who got REAL scared and don't want any risk at all in their portfolios and dubious traders who find it easier to go on TV and spread panic about the Euro or maybe Ireland's soap production slowing down than actually doing any research for an up market. Without these forces joining there simply is not enough fire power to move this market anywhere in the near future.

Anyway- back to the second theory-- I see one of the greatest over reactions ever coming on that next jobs report we may be up near 400 points in a day! But where will we close that day or the next? My fear is these cynical traders will use that as their final dump of equities and that Mr & Mrs America will finally be drawn out of their bond portfolios and back into the stock market just in time for it to CRACK big time yet again... Were that to happen and we sink right back down to this 10,380 level again and we threaten to kiss 10,000 for the 50th time...

I don't think we would ever recover from that malaise which would follow. Obviously I prefer slow and steady-- bring the hedge fund money in on a performance panic later in the summer. So far so good. Instead of watching the waves of the market try looking at who's ringing the bell each morning, it seems like a lot of IPO's to me and check the junk bond market, it's roaring. In fact bonds in general of these various companies is a winning ticket now; I wish I knew more in that regard. ~ stoney

  9. Well folks I'm going to keep it short and sweet this morning as I am in a bad mood.
Going to a neroligist at 9:30 can do that to you.

I'm not pre ordering any stocks but keep an eye on REFR. We talked about this name yesterday as they stand to benefit from " green " building initiatives unveiled in yesterday's toned down Energy talk. New cars Mercedes Benz in fact are coming out with these nee groovy cloud over windows-- I guess you can use them for sun roofs I know the cops don't like the tinted window thing but in a high tech way we are back to that idea to save money. REFR also sells their idea to Manufacturers who sell into the airline business... this is a patent co who hope to make money on licenses. They have a large deal with a window manufacturer if anyone would build a house again. To be honest this company has a lot of haters and it might be easier to go with something else today but if you look near the close yesterday, REFR's tape is interesting a lot of late buying came in. That's always smart money.

    Talk to you all later.
