Interesting to take a look at the Dow chart with a long term perspective, in this case the monthly chart going back to 2007. The 38% retracement of the swing low to high appears to have come into play at 10,482, and beneath it lies the 50% retracement at 9,767 and the nearby 200 period SMA. Chart courtesy of Worden
