Dow futures being taken to the woodshed

Discussion in 'Index Futures' started by bond_trad3r, Jun 6, 2010.

  1. Three days ago, I moved to lower beta ETFs. Today, the funds settle and I can move back to the higher beta ETFs. Lower beta ETFs do not decline as much as higher beta ETFs.

All night, the futures were very positive. Thanks to the aweful ADP employment report, futures became flat or slightly negative, which is what I want.

I meant that you are better off taking your view and sitting back, rather than watching the screen and hoping for a particular outcome. Gap down and end down is very specific. There are lots of other possibilities that will still end in your favor.
