Dow futures being taken to the woodshed

  2. I think you need to clarify your definition of "the woodshed". Because you and everyone else seem to be out of alignment.

    Is the woodshed 30 points on the Dow? If that's an indication of being taken to the woodshed...

  8. I should also state that, having said the above, I am NOT long. I am flat and will remain so until we crash back down through 1100 and I go short.

    Anyway, I am surprised by the bearish sentiment which is not good as I am bearish too.

    That's the rub. One cannot (fundamentally) look at all the debt and conclude anything other than trouble lies ahead. How far ahead? What kind of trouble? Harder calls to make.

    Maybe a few of us should set up a dirt cheap distillery - that would see us through some tough times, I think.
