Damn. While I was typing here I missed a great chance to take a great trade Could got +10 in 1 min. Lesson: No more typing in Journal during trading hrs.
Market looked ranged bound so I took a long for a 10pt tgt and a 7pt stop loss (basically 1 pt below the low). Market made a tiny effort before moving down and taking me out. -7 pts. For the Week: +6, +10, -7 = +9 For the Month so far: +41, +9 = +50
Hey Guys! No trading yty. Today I had 2 trades. The first was a long around 5 min before consumer confidence came out. I then realized that the news was going to come out and scratched the trade for +1 because I didn't want to have a position going into the announcement. The annoucement was bad as it was significantly off expectations and the market tanked. I took a short off the pullback and locked in a +10 pretty quickly
Today I'm going to try something different. So far I've posted my trades after I'm in and out. Today, I'm going to try and post at the same minute as my entry so stay tuned Please note that I put an emphasis on the try as I may not be able to post fast enough for non-trading related reasons.
No news pre-open. I took a long as stated previously, and took my profit at +9. Why +9 and not +10 as normal. Can't explain it. Guess I was a little worried about the trade... Still nice and quick
Double Screw. Internet is down and so I missed an easy short setup that would have resulted in a +10 Oh well....
