Dow 10,000 or 8,000 -- What's next ?

  1. Big companies are dying exactly because they killed the "golden goose" the American middle class. There is better chance to a graduate to become "middle class" in China than in the US.
    There is no job creation and the general populous is just dumped on. There is no chance in hell that the US will "somehow" trade itself out of this.

    just read a study by a large investment bank that believes in the dow above 11.000 over the next two years ... they say it is based on quantitative analysis ...

  3. I agree. I wonder though whether some inflation may keep things above 6k or 7k. Like looking at the seventies where the dow was in a channel but when factoring in inflation, was declining.

  6. it's less than a 25% continuation, is it that absurd? I'm not saying it'll stick that high, but could it not go there and return?

    Dow going down to 5500/8000 and then climbing back to 10000 in an year's period ? What about this ?
