I used Green for my tax prep until last year, and unfortunately I didn't do a good job checking over their figures until it after I filed the returns. So I have a couple of tax returns in which my property taxes are deducted for (almost) twice what they should be. I'm not trying to single out Green, but I have found them to be not so thorough. Apparently there is some kind of software glitch in some tax prep software that double books property taxes. My current accountant's software does the same thing, but they do a better job double checking everything. I doubt this will be discovered unless I'm audited, but it's a real easy way to get in trouble if you're not careful double checking every item.
