I've learned one thing about tops

    they cant be predicted

    they cant be coaxed

    they either are, or arent

and even after they have occurred, they're hard to observe and play, with vicious fakes against those who called it right

no matter what anyone tells you

it's either going higher, or it isnt

you have to be ready to react, no matter what, with stops in less than obvious places

these dickhead 'gurus' blow their horn loud when chance smiles on them - and they quietly airbrush the wrong calls out of their record

those who really know, dont tell

those who tell, dont really know

Dorsey has been at this game since 1985.

The proprietary work he does is unique to the street. He synthesized a methodology for assessing the emotional state of the market and identifying disconnects between price and sentiment from which he makes his calls. Dorsey doesn't worry about price and levels that's the call for all the Abbey Joseph Cohen's out there to make. He's a big picture type of guy, when he sees something coming you get out of its' way.

The reason you haven't heard about him is because you don't run in the same circle of finance that he does. His client base is a list of who's who in the world of capital markets.

I know a lot of guys who are willing to pony up the $20,000.00 annual fee for his research and they swear by him.

Oh, and by the way, it was Elaine Gazarelli who was noted for her 1987 call.

    Greenhorns, gotta love 'em.

    capisci?

if that's your 2 cents worth, i'd like change

elains gazarellis was noted for her 1987 call

    has been ever since

what she DOESNT crow about, is her long call in the tech wreck of fall 2000

    oops!

19 years is a long time - why havent we heard of any other brilliant calls from her?

rest assured, if there were any, she'd let us know

What is funny about this kind of big guy's call, that if he keeps it quiet, the rest of the market wouldn't know that they are supposed to sell, and they keep buying... :)
