There is a great App called Windy, I've had for several years. This link brings up a web based view.... https://www.windy.com/ This might be your area....https://www.windy.com/?27.684,-97.383,4,m:eoOad5F
At the very bottom of the Windy window is a horizontal bar. If you tweak that toward the right it gives anticipated weather forecast. The hurricane Dorian doesnt appear big going from previous occasions, am wondering if the news media is hamming it up purely for sensation. The map shows a larger one currently West of Anchorage, Alaska
Note to self. A CAT 5 is a mandatory evacuation. I don’t care what building codes we have in place.
Anchorage does not need to worry about hurricanes. No warm water for them to feed off of so they poop out long before. Now Florida- that be another story. That's why the blue tarp became the state flag of Florida.
how does it work? every year or two you guys get your houses ripped apart then rebuild? Or property damage is only a minority which the TV picks up on and exaggerates?
