Guys... Is there anyone who can give me recommendations for building a portfolio with Fx-auto? I see that most of systems are losing...those who are on top for last 12 months, made huge losses in last 3 months. Look at Clayburg which is on top of fx-auto list..they can wipe your account in 1 week..Fx-auto will advice you to use smaller lot but if you do so, it will take you years to make small profit (if not loss)
...these are working for me; Hyper-fx GBP/USD quants-mp40 GBP/JPY GFS wizard GBP/JPY ...0.1 lots per signal, but test out signal strategies on the demo before committing to a live platform...
Hyper-FX use huge SL. They lost today -305 pips!Which removed their profit in last 2 weeks. quants-mp40 shows history since January 2007 while GFS shows history since 2 weeks only!! I guess this's too short history to judge them! Let's see where will they be after few months If you are following Fx-auto systems for the last year, you will find that at one time OMI-fx was the best performer for few months and now they are making huge losses. The same story with many other systems.
Autotrading is a hoax/bullcrap, no other way of putting it. A while ago I met a guy who showed me the past results of his day trading system, it was all impressive with a very low drawdown rate in a year. I decided to put in 5k. Guess what.... In a few months half of it was gone... The guy didn't even take responsability, nor repayed the $600 fee I payed him for reservation. I guess I shouldn't have been stupid, but atleast it learned me the following lesson: FX autotrading is nothing but a pipedream.
...yep, your right, the time I posted this post, Hyperfx was doing good before positive GBP news, now I deleated it and testing another strategy on my demo, before submitting live... ...my strategy with fx-auto is to generate equity onto the balance then withdraw $1500-$2000 into my bank account, then generate again and repeat the process until my bank account grows...say I'll do this 2-3 times a month...
Using other peoples auto systems is a death wish. The only auto systems that work are closely guarded by their owners and not shared.
i used to use TradeRobot until they started charging like crazy. even though they're "autotraders", you still have to manage them religiously. just like a stock system.. if you let trades go wildly against you with gaping stop losses, let profitable trades reverse and turn negative without locking in the profit, and cut profits short rather than scaling out or setting trailing stops, then the system is likely gonna to be a toss-up and not worth the time. if you follow the program closely, make sure your fixed stops are being adhered to, and lock in your gains with trailing stops, you should have overall better results.
Has anybody here actually risked their cash and is trading live on FX-auto? If so, could they share their stories with us?
...I went live 3 weeks ago with $2500 usd, tried a couple of signals, gfs and forex enterprise, I did not understand that you can modify the stops and I took some losses. So I started placing manual trades and built back my account 180% from deposit levels... ...the thing is how to use the signals to maxium benefit, you can modify the stops and close the trades, don't rely so much on the provider to close, watch the market sentiment and make your decision from there... ...this week I am trying quants mp40 aud/jpy, as the pips increase, I will increase the lots, then I will close the trade and lock in profits, if the pips decrease I will close the trade using small lots, so I will have taken a small loss, there will be draw downs... ...the provider will open the trade when it sees the opportunity, it may take 15 minutes up to 3 days... ...is this system proven? I am still testing out my system with the providers, in the mean time I am able to place manual trades with some success, you can place manual trades on the mt platform in which you are able to use, with mt you are able to use trailing stops... ...now my account is down 10%,due to my overtrading, so I will be placing a autotrade... ...I grade it now a C+, when I am able to intermix manual and autotrades successfully, and lock in profits, I will grade it an A+.
Don't pick new or weak or mediocre systems with no proven successful trade records, be smart and aggressive in choosing your sytems, don't diversify your portfolio too much, stick with 1 or 2 strong pairs that the provider has THE BEST track record with, don't pick highly volatile pairs (a see lot of u make that mistake and that's why u have huge drawdowns that take u out of the game), pick systems that have been around successfully for years, using pairs that have a 10+ pip/trade ratio, don't overleverage your account to the point where potential consecutive drawdowns can margin u out, don't modify your trades, let the systems do their thing, don't go live until u are a proven winner with your demo, start with plenty of capital eg at least several thousand ($USD),... Bottom line is the smarter and more savvy u are with autotrading the more of a winner u will be.
