if your policy was in place anyone with a weapon (gun, car) and attacks police, as long as they turn their back and get a certain distance away, the police should let them go.... to attack again

He backed-up to maneuver around to flee in the car. He was basically idling. Less than 3mph.

I agree.I even give them the benefit of the doubt to shoot at that point because they dont know if he will hit the gas pedal and come at them.They were in no danger whatsoever when he was driving away but they kept firing imo.

 

If they attack again,police fire again.You don't shoot a suspect when they are no longer a threat.

Maybe the cops were firing at him fleeing because he was driving the car directly at the unmarked car at the end of the lot?
