Andrew Brown has a 180 page+ criminal record plus outstanding warrants Will someone please think of all the victims of his many crimes -- many of which were violent.

We don't want our cops being judge, jury, and executioner ... at least those of us who aren't racist and are civilized. Prior bad acts are irrelevant to the situation. They are for a Judge to consider.

The man was fleeing. Any idiot can see that.

You better go watch the video of the DA citing the law.

Actually, no, prior actions do impact how the police should determine whether a fleeing suspect is a threat to the community. I say this only because this is a uniquely American issue because of all of the guns in America fleeing dangerous suspects can be neutralized. It’s lawful.

I know you know this, and I know that you just want to be a drama queen, but I'm going to say this for anyone that may be susceptible to your type of dramatic bullshit:

No one is advocated letting 'them' go. They should be apprehended like professional officers would do, as other officers have done; not executed while fleeing.

There, you can go back to joining your buddies in spreading bullshit.

Prior acts, in this case, are irrelevant to the issue of deadly force by police.

If you disagree with the decision by the DA and State Bureau of Investigation then feel free to contact them. I am merely outlining the facts and their decision.

So before an arrest warrant is executed in a tactical manner, as was in this case, there is a briefing on the suspect where the officers review the suspects history to determine the possible threat the suspect poses.

As I said before, the issue here is not the shooting. Under our law, it is justified. That’s just a cold hard truth in America.

The failure was the judgment to execute the warrant on a known dangerous suspect while he was in the drivers seat of an operational car. The officer that gave the order to execute the warrant in that scenario should be fired. He should have known he was creating a dangerous situation for the arresting team, the community and the suspect.
