  2. I'm just curious about efficiency and performance.

I'm not sure what you mean by "risk/reward." My orientation toward the market is different than yours. I don't associate being in a trade with risk. When I perceive risk, I'm usually sidelined. The times I am not are when I'm having a little fun and staying loose, which really puts me in a groove with the market.

    I hope that helps.

  3. Caught a break today ( I guess).

Again, I caught myself putting in several hundred DAY orders...

So, I just had time to cancel them all before the open.

Then..... Echo doesn't have any chart data at the open. AGAIN.....

So, I guess my angel was on the job today.

    Pretty good morning today.

And all that with a flakey internet connection.

I will now say this on the record for the public:

"I made more money because my internet connection had a problem."

So, it DOES happen! I stayed in a position where I would've been whipped out if my connection was delivering timely quotes.

Obviously, not the way you want to make money, but hey, I'll take it:p

  7. Just like "tossing a coin" eh?
Are you ready for the Hurricane? Or is it just going to affect your telecommunications when it hits the coast?

"Dem 'coastal folks' will probably be heading inland, your way.....be on the look out!!"

Good point... I have cable and DSL internet... I'll make the primary DSL as I've never had telecomm probs during any of these, but definitely cable probs.

  9. Oh boy.......

    No fills, thank heaven........

Echo servers went down again or something... couldn't route any orders, couldn't cancel any orders....

Thankfully, I had canceled my shorts prior, and had a wider envelope anyway.

But I was sure stuck in some long side OO forever.......... it seemed. But, since the market was going up, I wasn't going to get filled anyway.

After we got our routing back.

    TXN -.03 Bad entry
    TXN -.04
    MDT .00
    FBF +.02

The rest were just no follow through.
