Hey Don...just wondering what your daily winning percentage is. It seems you only lose money like once or twice a month.

Thats pretty amazing to be up 90% of time every month in this market.

  2. It's actually around 75-80% of the days that are winners. And, of course, we have to be sure that those bad days don't eat up our profits. Since this strategy is a small part of my overall trading, I tend to take my profits soon.....as in "coulda made more"....but I like to simply show what can be done by virtually anyone.

Your doing a lot better this year then you think.. although you have missed a months worth of trading or you have forgot to enter you daily performance a few times.

Since the beginning of the year you have been filled 24 days and your only down 2 days.(january 9 and january 21)

If you count the one day you were flat as a positive day(Feb 4) then your winning percentage is 92%.

I personally thought February was a rough month for the OPG strategy, but you were 9 for 9.

  5. what procedure do you go through to choose which stocks to use for this strategy ?

  6. Very simple. Pick S&P stocks, medium priced, and diversify a bit. I use a couple of brokers, banks, drugs, retail, and the like. And then, get rid of any stock that is consistently not working (for whatever reason).

  7. Back home.....back to the "center of the universe" in Las Vegas. Enjoyed my trip to NYC and Long Island, met some great people....had very positive meetings with some of the "big whigs" in the industry....and it's always good to hear the good part of the business....so many are complaining about the market, and overall "our" people are doing well.

However, no fills this morning.....back to it tomorrow.....

  10. OK, back on track in the office....

    3 fills, 2 winners, 1 small loser....$445 profit.....(22.5 cents).....

Once again, "coulda been better" but remember, we're looking for consistency!

    Back to you all...
