One of Echotrade's platforms (Sterling) shows imbalances, indications etc. You can have them all in a seperate window(see attched file) or have symbols next to the stocks you normaly have on your screen.
I don't understand why anybody would want to trade NYSE stocks. Low Volume, and executions at the wim of a specialist. Why?
agin- i thought like you a while back...but there are many NYSE issues that have high volume....and there are some reasons to trade 'em. If it's not your style than stick to Nasdaq, but if you're interested in NYSE then you can do a search here....there are probably about 100 different threads on the subject. good luck. one and ahalf more days until Turkey. 28minutes until beer.
your a dumb a#s to ask that question!....why would you trade ANY stock on ANY market?????/...Because you believe it's more likely to go either up or down based on technical or fundamental reasons....don't look at the market...look at the stock and remember that the NASDAQ joy ride crashed a lot harder then the listed..
No, not a Dumb A## just not interested in having a specialist in the way of my execution, but then again, there are some people who like the specialist system, and maybe it is less volatile.
they hold the market together and prevent run of the mill , fly by night stock jockeys like you form manipulating a market maker on the other side of the planet!!..... i miss making fun of your trading strategies!
2 shorts and a long today. Long DIS +.20 set a slingshot and it finally got hit. Short EDS, +.02, got this short, remembered that it was VERY strong yesterday, dumped it immediately, cost myself a decent profit.. This is the second time in 2 days I have flipped out of a position immediately on a whim... Short COX, +.29 worked this one more calmly and it paid off ok.
