That's what the tradestation chart has. But they use the all markets open. Doesn't mean it's the nyse open. I need the definitive nyse open.

Just figured it out, going down to 1 minute bars, the first bar has a ohlc of 33.12 but only 17k shares. Not the nyse open. The second bar opens at 33.85 and that bar has 168k shares. Knew the 33.12 was too good to be true from a backtesting standpoint.

  7. Wow, 14 fills today, long and short.....9 winners, 5 losers,

+ 3220 (1.61)......I had everyone widen out to 1.0, check the indications and adjust to top/bottom third of same. I'll post 2 days of bootcampers in a little while (they're still pretty busy)...

    1% envelope 13 fills , 8 short 5 longs.

    9 losers, 4 winners

Lost about 1.60. PG (long) just killed me. Dropped .90 right after the open but I hung on until it broke the lows and I ended up losing 1.25 on that stock alone:mad: Only 2 of my longs made me any money, but one of them, ATH, wich was a HUGE winner I trade at a reduced size so it barely helped

  9. For what it's worth, PNG stuck my brother as well today, reducing a good winner to a small winner.

Bootcampers yesterday and today ( a few AWOL's).

    (+2, -.81), (+.39, +.26), (-.13, +.17), (-.21, -.02), (.05, 0), (0, +.52), (+.32, +.12), (-.58, + 1.46), (+.44, -.17).

The win loss percentage is holding at a good level. I have added a couple of new people, and will be tracking them after their first week.

    attn struggling OO traders

    this helped me...

    1. reduce your stock list to stocks that have less volatility

    2. identify the type of day you are seeing

    3. some opening order stocks are much better when faded during the first 5 minutes of the open. watch the opening print vs. putting in an OO order.

    4. know the prev days relative strength of each stock
