Don, what do you mean by "we used .8"?

  2. I had our "bootcampers" use a .8 envelope for the openings. .8 of 1 percent over and under the estimated FV price of each stock (beta adjusted for sector, in some cases).

  3. Thursday bootcamp:
    + .64, + .60, +2, +.24, +.18, + .92, + 4, +.65, +.54. (-.43, -20, -.19).

    9 winners, 3 losers.

I will try to do a weekly recap, I missed a day this week....

Questions were about modifying automated entry prices (over-ride), and i showed them how to do that. Also, questions on last minute updates due to pre-opening indications....explained update functions.

    How about everyone else...??

I used .85 on the buy and sell side. Had 19 fills ( too many) and was about split on longs and shorts.

    11 losers and 8 winners.

    Avg winner +.25

    Avg. loser +.27

  6. I made 47 cents today ($940) as in a couple of posts back. The "boot camp" numbers are individual by trader today.

I hope John was one of the $2.00 or $4.00 OO winners!

Thanks for posting the OO's for the "booters"...looks like overall more are winning than loosing....great job!

  8. OK, for I guess if I'm going to post numbers here, I better post a "legend"...

Boot campers: each trader's profits on opening only. 9 traders at the above wins, 3 traders with the above losses.

(John made .24 cents this AM, but don't tell anyone)...:)

    Does +2 and +4 mean +$2 and +$4 (respectively)? Does the '-20' mean -.20?
