I must be in top form today! Hi Don, Assuming that your buy order got filled on BMY, did you hold through that big drop until your trade became profitable? (just trying to understand this 'opening' stuff) If so, that's courageous trading! re: Post. It sounds like YOUR response!? (scratching head) BTW, SethArb, that was pretty slick! is that where you get your name!!!
The top of page 31 has Mark Hansen and MBG, don't know where you got me..... Re; BMY ...yes I held for the shakeout. Not so "courageous" - I feel comfortable with the stocks I trade everyday. It really makes a difference to trade the same stocks than than when you try to trade "unknown" specialists, etc. Don
Just so everyone knows, when you refer to page numbers, it is specific to your setup. As an example, I have my preferences to show the maximum of 40 posts per page, so for me, there are only five pages in this thread. The best way to reference a quote several pages back is to quote part of it at the beginning of your message.
if you are refering to my post, I just happened to have an OPG buy-sell on TXN also, and thought I would comment Mark
VIA.B and HD ....+$820. I cancelled BMY this morning, after it didn't open for quite a while, same with MRK.... Not being "chicken" ...just flying off to Seattle this morning. If anyone is in Seattle, check out the website and come visit me at the seminar on Saturday. Don
If my broker execution system does not support OO orders, what is the difference if I enter regular limit orders above and below fair value before the 9:30 opening? My guess is the only issue about this "workaround" is that I have to furiously cancel my limit orders after the 1st couple of prints. Are there any other issues? thanks in advance
ouch.....i'm speechless -43 -39 -27 -12 -12 -5 -2 +10 7 longs, 1 short. -$1.30. and with that, i'm negative with this strategy.
