I think I remember a post by mschey a while back talking about this and saying in general it wasn't profitable, at least back then (maybe a couple of years ago.) Perhaps doing it only with those fills that go immediately in your direction by a certain threshold, say 20-30 cents or so (depending on the stock), setting your stop at break even, and waiting til end of day to see what happens. You'd really have to detach yourself to stomach the inevitable retracement. Today, no fills. Have a great Memorial Day weekend, all, and remember those who made it possible...
6 fills / 9000 shares 4 short / 2 long / +141.00 - .5 / + 1.0%... quite thin this am...could of been a little better but hey i'll take it... have a great week end and remember those who defend our freedoms... now drop down and give me 20...
Very boring day, so I thought I'd post a screen shot of my layout for trading openings. I have 5 screens, and this shot is of the lower 3 where I watch and trade all my positions. There are enough charts and level 2 windows to watch 16 positions, but I rarely get that many fills. The other two screens above them have IM and IRC windows open, a spreadsheet, P/L and various index charts and watchlists.
When you click on the image, it loads then there is an arrow in the lower right corner that will allow you to enlarge it.
Yes, I took it pre market, so there's no data in the charts or L2's. It's full size, so your browser likely brings it up minimized, but if you zoom it, you can see it full size stretched across 3 screens.
I finally found the "button" (thanks Mike), LOL. I was hoping to see the Position monitor with all the P&L, that's the really important window...but I understand that you don't like to brag. Have a great holiday weekend everyone!! Don
