Good idea Don. I was actually thinking about this the other day. I'd like to use some kind of screen capture software to record the whole morning of trading, with some voice audio. That would be a neat vid.

If I was doing it Bob's way, I'd tidy my desk first...

  2. This was just a lark, I had my camera here uploading some Holiday videos, so I figured I'd just post up a quickie.

I have used Camtasia before, for my openings, and shared them with audio. I may try that again... You should try it, share the wealth!!

Ensign has a playback feature. You can run it with the IB data feed for just the cost of the software $40/mo.

  6. I wish I would have recorded this morning's openings. I cleaned up my stock list, used nearlyh all of them, got 8 fills. So far so good.....but the stupid position window was extremely slow this morning (murphy law type of thing)...and the position window is what triggers my auto retrace orders...so I'm I'm running off message window manually. Made about $800 or so, but "shoulda" been more like $1400....AXP had as much as a $400 profit, which turned into a $250 loss.....oh well...

    Anyway, up $796. .002 sell, 1.00 buy.

Regarding the recording of the openings with Camtasia...I'm not sure I can get more than one monitor to record at a time...I'll play with it.
