  1. 2 fills, +$200. I'm going to put together a bigger "second account" opening program to use when I don't have new people here....I'll let you guys know how it works. A bit more automation.

  3. Yesterday was my turn to be the jackass...after making updates to my spreadsheet I neglected to update closing prices and sent in skewed orders. Luckily only lost $319. A few longs that should have been shorts were winners, helping to control the damage.

Today only 1 short fill, +55.

To Don and his support for the specialist system. I read an article in, I think Active Trader mag that mentioned a study done on the speed of fills and so forth among specialists and the ECNs, which included NASDAQ. According to the results the specialists were far and away quicker at filling orders than the electronic mkts. Had to read quick, but it mentioned they were surprised at the results and assumed most people would be also.
    Just thought it was interesting.

  5. i took 19 fills and cancelled a lot of working tickets...

i am not sure what happened but it looks legit...

just a flukey day where everything was within my limits...

i just covered because i made some good money and i had no idea what was really going on...

system says it would have been even better...

however it it looks to good to be true it probably is so... i bailed...

    maybe next time i won't

    +1752.00

    -.5 / + 1.0%

    p.s. if i didn't cancel system says + 6390.00 @ 8:54 cst

I thought it looked like a weird opening also. I am thinking it may have had to do with the fair market value rolling over to December, that is the only thing I can think of. 9 fills, 7 shorts. 8 winners. +1114 Like Chiguy, I also bailed pretty fast, guestimate is could have made another $1000 if I had hung around longer. Only loser was MO but it wasn't bad since I lowered my share quantity down on it because of the news on it.

Wierd opening really. Slowly got more and more fills but it was steadily building positive PnL. Learning from previous similar day, I tried hard to be patient and still not too greedy. Lots of Fills for about 7G net on 120,000 shares.

I came a little late and had to rush and not sending some orders but didnt have time to fix the SP value and failr value to account for new month. Havent checked whether the result would be different if using the new month. Did people use the old (june) or new (Dec) SP contract

    Great day

  9. It wasn't just you guys. 10 fills had me looking at my spreadsheet for errors. Couldn't find any, so I played it out normally.
