  3. 2 winners on small test positions (of course), 1 loser. Decided to "supersize" my loss on the Clown House by being way too patient and stupid. He would not cooperate for anything. As a result I had my worst open in over a year, -947.50. Oh well, I'll get it back. Just one of those rare shots to the groin to keep me on my toes.

I am now on my toes...but heavily slumped over.

  5. Thanks! It sure is nice to find a high probability setup, bet big and win on the very first day. It's hard to believe I waited this long to make this upgrade. Shows my weakness as a programmer..... :p

I use an Excel spreadsheet to store my data and calculate all my entry prices. I then use a VB project to submit the orders and help with managing my exits. There's a lot of legacy to all this, I started with an Excel spreadsheet and submitted orders with it. But as I progressed I required more than Excel could deliver, so I started using VB. Still, I like the "visibility" the Excel spreadsheet gives me so I've kept it as my "database". It looks remarkably similar to IB's sample spreadsheet, plus a whole bunch of extra crap. :D

  9. 8 fills, -676. PRU was awful. I had already sold half for a profit and then the bottom dropped out of it. I've had excellent results buying these drops on PRU before. I nibbled and nibbled some more, just missed getting out and ended up taking a loss.

The good news in all this is my new position sizing saved me probably $700 today as I played PRU and WMT much smaller than I would have. So it does appear I'm maximizing my gains and minimizing my losses.

Considering the debacle that was PRU, I can't complain too much. That was an unusual situation.

Yeah, lots of stocks were wild this morning and gave no chance at all. Bad day for me with lots of fills ,... need to check my spreadsheet if I screwed up something, havent done so yet.
6 losers, 15 flat (up or down less than 50USD) and 3 winners for a net of - 500USD.
Shreddog, what execution platform are you using?
