Not a bad day. 15 fills. All short. But a perfect classic opening. Only 1 loser and 1 break even. +3010 on 18300 shares. Looked at some theoretical #s if I didn't get stopped out on pullbacks and could have potentially made another $3350 if I could have closed out at the theoretical lows (like that would ever happen). I'll bet some people made some big money today.
7 fills / 800 shares each 6 short / 1 long +392.00 - .5 / + 1.5 % kinda got out to quick...o/o positions mixed in with dow baskets... had to clean up to figure where the hell i was at... spoon, ....how many shares did you trde to pull in those numbers if you will????
84,800 shares. Most positions 1500 to 2400 today. Only one greater than 2400. 21 fills. I guess I looked at indications on 80-100 stocks and threw some orders in stocks that I don't do every day.
Insane today. Sent an additional list of stocks to cast the net a little wider just in case it was one of those rare witchings, which it turned out to be. I had so many fills so fast that I thought something might have been wrong with my prices and was overwhelmed so I canceled a bunch of unfilled orders. Mistake. 41 fills, all short. 38 wins. $26,000 on 282,000 shares. Woulda had another 21 shorts and 2 longs without canceling which probably was a 10-15 grand oops. I traded very very inefficiently too. Just buying with abandon, not really looking at individual stocks, all I saw was a sea of green. Full automation woulda been killer today.
what size envelopes are you using to get so many fills... i use +/- 1 % from prior close and skew for spu's
thanx... i adjusted my spreadsheet to +/- .75 and to +/- .5 and the fills and p&l grow exponentially... +/- .75% p&l x10 18 fills +/- .50% p&l x20 38 fills it is amazing the difference by just moving a small percentage....
Quick and easy, +$710 ...did have a glitch with Redi, but was still out within 8 minutes of opening. Have a good weekend everyone.!! Don
