5 fills 3 losers/2 winners. Broke even. ACI did the same thing as yesterday. Jumped up a dollar and i was short. Spread was something insane like 50 cents and even then it was only someone selling 100 shares. It came back and i got out of it...but should i held it a few minutes longer as i couldve made a profit. I may just dump ACI from my opening orders after this happening 2 days in a row.
ACI = P/E of 114 ? Book Value $18.00 But, it says its' beta is .44 which is wrong...since the 52 week high low is $82/$32. not good. And, one final thing...I don't recommend trading stocks over $50.00... FWIW... All the best, Don
1 long winner, 1 short scratch, +175 net Regarding pulling stocks from your roster, if they are not profitable after several opening fills (I give new names a trial run with only 500 shares), I get rid of them. They may be poor stocks for the opening play, or they may be stocks that don't mesh well with your style - just because someone may be successful with a certain stock doesn't mean you will be. I personally don't care for stocks with long steep shakeouts, but some of those can be lucrative if you have the patience for them. Some stocks that you have had success with can turn on you as well. MCD is a good example of one that used to be good to me, but we divorced over irreconcilable differences.
