That is the way business works. You give your money to someone else to provide something for you. They spend the money elsewhere. What does it matter where they are located? Isn't America trying to do the same thing? World domination? Importing/Exporting.. Every country has the same goal. Curious, how would you feel if you bought something from your good ol' American neighbor, and they used the money to invest in something non American? What if that investment brought money back to America? Are we robbing that country of their dollars? I dont think that country would view it that way. That person/company/country would likely be happy to do business (with anyone) rather than none at all. Close the boarders and you've got your wish buddy lol. Don't get me wrong, American's are probably some of the luckiest people on the planet and I've seen enough to know how incredibly fucking lucky I am to live here. Things are sliding down hill right now though.. When the internet was created and people could easily share information, technology took off. We're going backwards now. There will be less and less sharing, and more and more isolation. How all-American made are you @Buy1Sell2 and do you use anything foreign? I think it'd be hard for anyone in the US to claim they're all american made. If you have enough dough (you?) to buy all American, tariffs aren't a big deal. If you aint got that chedda, it's an issue. Cant believe such a dumbass president got me to waste this much time typing lol.
This is not OK, Today's interview: If the news agencies simply boycotted him until he comes clean on just this, that would be progress.
Trump Tariffs Steal Huge Employer From China https://trendingpoliticsnews.com/trump-tariffs-steal-huge-employer-from-china-mace/ President Donald Trump’s aggressive tariff strategy against China has delivered a high-profile manufacturing victory to the United States. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), the world’s largest contract chipmaker, announced it will expand its U.S. investment by another $100 billion—bringing the total to $165 billion. The expansion marks the largest foreign direct investment in American history and signals a decisive shift away from Chinese reliance in the tech supply chain.
Trump posts apparent AI image of himself in papal attire US president’s post, shared by official White House account, comes after he joked about wanting to be the next Catholic pontiff following death of Pope Francis By AFP Today, 7:17 pm https://www.timesofisrael.com/trump-posts-apparent-ai-image-of-himself-in-papal-attire/ US President Donald Trump seen as the pope in an apparently AI-generated picture posted by the White House, May 3, 2025. US President Donald Trump posted on Friday a spoof picture of himself dressed as the pope on his Truth Social platform after joking that he would like to be the next Catholic pontiff. The president is seen in what appears to be an AI-generated color image, with his right index finger pointed toward the sky, wearing papal regalia, including white robes, a gold crucifix pendant and the miter hat. It comes after Trump joked to reporters this week that he would like to be the next pope, just days before cardinals are due to start the conclave to elect the successor of Pope Francis, who died on April 21. Asked who he would like to succeed Pope Francis, Trump said: “I’d like to be pope, that would be my number one choice.” Trump went on to say that he did not have a preference but said there was a cardinal in New York who was “very good.” He appeared to be referring to the archbishop of New York, Timothy Dolan, a theological conservative and fiercely opposed to abortion. Trump attended the funeral service of Pope Francis last week, his first foreign trip since returning to power. About 20 percent of Americans declare themselves Catholic, and exit polls indicated in November that they voted around 60 percent in favor of Trump. Pope Francis was arguably one of the most powerful moral voices on the world stage, critical of Trump. When Trump first ran for president in 2016, Francis was unsparing on his signature promise to build a border wall to seal off Mexico. Francis told reporters, “Anyone, whoever he is, who only wants to build walls and not bridges is not a Christian.”
