Donald Trump now @ 50 percent approval rate. This continues an existing uptrend in popularity. This is also higher than Hussein's approval rating at this point in his first term.
The Trump approval rating thread is back so I'll chime in Current Gallup approval rating 39% Today's IBB/Tipp poll 38% https://www.investors.com/politics/trump-approval-unemployment-ibd-tipp-poll/ President Trump's popularity edged up in April, with 38% now saying they approve of the job he's doing as president, up from 37% last month, as the share of households reporting someone being unemployed sharply drops. Current 538 approval rating 40.6% (Aggregate poll) Current RCP approval rating 41.8% (Aggregate poll) Trumps approval rating in aggregate polls are being pulled up because one,and only one ridiculous poll has Trump at 50% while all other polls has Trump approval ratings in the 30's or low 40's.Anyone who knows anything about polls knows the one dumb ass poll that has Trump at 50% without having to check. Trump continues to be the only President since polling began in the 1930's to never have a 51% or higher approval rating in Gallup or aggregate polls. Of course the majority of Americans voted against Trump and millions more Americans voted for his opponent than him.
Thank goodness there is an honest poll out there that tracks a large and correctly weighted group of likely voters. Take a look at the small sample size and poor eligibility criteria on numerous polls in the Real Clear Pravda polls---Disgusting.
Our country will soon, very likely, be faced with it's first constitutional crisis of the 20th Century. It would be tempting fate to count on the Court rescuing us from our folly, and certainly neither the Cabinet, nor the present House will. There can be no question that Trump is a dangerous demagogue and a pathological liar. And no question his narcissism is at a clinical level. Mr. Trump's consistent behavior leaves no doubt that he feels threatened, but about what. It is probably not about the virtual certainty that he knew about Russian interference in the 2016 election. Of course he knew, as there is no other plausible possibility with his having been surrounded by those with Russian interests in mind and agents paid to promote these interests. His own son-in-law even sought to open private channels of communications with Russians outside of U.S. Government eavesdropping! Trump's habitual lying and far too vehement denials -- "no collusion" -- assure us there was collusion. Although active coordination/information sharing between Trump's campaign and Russians is of crucial importance to the American Republic, it should not keep Mr. Trump awake. He has far more serious concerns weighing on his mind. Concerns such as obstruction of justice, to which perjury will soon be added – Mr. Trump is, shall we say, clinically incapable of telling the truth; ergo incapable of not committing perjury when under oath. But the greatest concern weighing on Mr. Trump is, no doubt, years of fraudulent tax returns he has signed off on. What criminal do you know that conscientiously and correctly reports ill gotten gains on their Tax Returns? Mr. Trump would be an unlikely candidate to be the first. And then there is money laundering. A crime all by itself, even if capital gains from such activity are reported, as just that, i.e., capital gains; remarkable capital gains! , as it were... Indeed, Mr. Trump, has made it clear to Robert Mueller that his personal finances are "off limits" -- in the same manner and with similar effect, I suppose, that Jeffrey Dahmer might have told the police inspector that the freezer was "off limits." Some think Trump is harmless at worst , and might at least do some needed head cracking: "everyone knows he is lying, but I don't care, because I like what he says" ; “his word seldom translates into deed, so what's the harm?”; “We need a guy like Trump to drain the swamp, destroy the 'Deep State', jail Hillary.” Others are happy with the chaos he's created. They are wanting to free the country from "the onerous shackles of government” ; to bring government to its metaphorical knees; to bring back the glory days of yore when Teddy rode up the hill at San Juan, after W.R. Hearst* muckraked our way into the Spanish American War (or tried to). Without realizing it, they want to go back to a time when one could shoot a man in the Nevada territory and get away with it; when life and child labor was cheap and plentiful; when the spoils went to the bold and ruthless; when men were free and there was, practically speaking, hardly any government to interfere with the important business of money making. They want these days of “freedom from government interference" back, but they want them back with supersonic jets, antibiotics, hot tubs, and NASCAR. Those who see the government as corrupt and evil and those who want virtually no government are dangerously wrong. Thankfully there is still a majority who love this country despite its faults; faults they hope with tireless optimism the next Congress, the next President will fix. For these folks, their Donald Trump nightmare can not be over soon enough. _____________ * Today's Hearst equivalent is Rupert Murdoch. Hearst then, Murdoch now: both men for whom truth may not be permitted to stand in the way of profits. The public wants scandal and corruption and it's the newspaperman's job to give it to them.
You're too shortsighted to see this, but I have news for you - all those kiddies you folks on the left are winding up to fight the Constitution (2A or freedom of speech enemies) will be the ones who end up taking down what you claim to profess to care about. It won't be the Right.
Well that's one thing you're right about. I don't see it. But it may turn out that it is not because I'm myoptic.
Poor Tony's mind has been ravaged by Trump Derangement Syndrome to the point that it's consumed him https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/trump-derangement-syndrome-an-analysis.317881/
