A lot of your garden variety Libprogs point to losses in Virginia and Alabama as evidence that the populace is turning against our president.
--Nothing could be further from the truth (except Russian Collusion with Trump of course)---
---Virginia is a blue state. There has now been enough spillover from the DC area that it has turned red to purple to blue. It would be expected that a Democrat would win. What might be the story there is that Gillespie was so close.---
---Alabama has never liked Roy Moore. Elected twice to Alabama Supreme Court with margins of 52 to 48. IN ALABAMA!. All voters were looking for was an opportunity to not vote for him. Doug Jones will serve a lackluster 3 years and will never be heard from again. Mo Brooks will likely take his place in 2021.

Since Trump'sinauguration, the state of Michigan has gained 9000 jobs and unemployment has dropped to 4.3 percent. The state of Wisconsin has added 55000 jobs and unemployment has fallen to 3.4 percent. The state of Florida has added 256,000 jobs and unemployment has fallen to 3.6 percent. These are the kinds of numbers that are driving Libprogs crazy and have made Morlibons scared. While they continue to tout results only on national polling, they cover up the analysis of individual states that Trump won in 2016. --and those numbers will only get better in 2018 as the tax bill takes effect .

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund indicates police deaths neared a 50-year low during President Donald Trump’s first year in office.
The decline comes after 2016, a year which “saw more deaths than in the five previous years.” Breitbart News reported that the number of officers “feloniously killed” in 2016 jumped 61 percent over the number killed in that fashion in 2015.

USA Today reports that preliminary numbers for 2017 show 128 deaths in line of duty, which represents nearly a 50-year low. The only year with fewer officer deaths during the last five decades was 2013. There were 116 officer deaths that year.

The largest number of line of duty deaths, 47, were the result of traffic accidents. This is a 15 percent decline from 2016. Texas led the nation in the number of officers killed, followed by Florida and New York.

The 128 overall line of duty deaths for 2017 is down from the 143 line of duty deaths for 2016.

Blue Lives Matter’s Randy Sutton believes the overall decline in officer deaths is the result of a greater awareness for officer safety. He indicated that this focus on safety “[includes] a change in how officers approach arrests because of the controversial high-profile shootings over the years.” Officers are seemingly more cognizant of potential dangers and approach (or avoid) dangerous situations accordingly.

National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund President and Chief Executive Craig Floyd says, “In my 33 years doing this, I’ve never seen the amount of awareness given to officer safety and wellness. I think that’s definitely been paying off and will continue to help make law enforcement a significantly safer profession.”

On December 26, Breitbart News reported that President Trump personally paid for hundreds of dinners for law enforcement officers and agents who had to work over the Christmas holiday. CNN’s Noah Gray indicated members of the Secret Service, the White House Military Office, and the Palm Beach Sheriff Department were among those fed with the meals.

I often hear people say that there is no evidence that illegals vote in US elections. Yet, here it is from Wikipedia's Bob Dornan page. Not surprisingly, it's in California-----

"After failing to win the GOP presidential nomination in 1996, Dornan ran for reelection to the House against Loretta Sanchez, a Latina and former Republican who had switched parties and run as a Democrat. Dornan lost by 979 votes.

Following the narrow defeat, Dornan alleged that Sanchez's winning margin was provided by illegal voting from non-U.S. citizens. A thirteen-month House of Representatives investigation ensued, during which Sanchez was seated provisionally, pending the inquiry.[22]A task force found 748 votes that had been cast illegally—624 from non-citizens in addition to 124 that had already been thrown out by California officials. This was not enough to overturn Sanchez' margin of victory and she was allowed to keep her seat.[23]However, in consultation with theINS, the House committee identified as many as 4,700 questionable registration affidavits.[24]The probe was dropped before these affidavits could be investigated."
