Donald Trump for Pope

  1. It's not, they are just much more powerful and carry way too much political influence. At a minimum they should be taxed. Islam of course running a close second these days.

  2. I cannot speak for the religious set, but the secular left (me included, although I consider myself to be center left) is outraged by his asserting that he is a man of "deep faith." It's the hypocrisy that is the most jarring.

  3. Yes, he's full of shit in that respect, as have every other president. They all kiss ass for the vote.

  4. It represents about half of the Christian faith.

  5. Because they would presently be unelectable if they didn't. But the way Trump does it makes you think that he believes we're all fools. The blatancy of it all. He has all the nuance of a raging rhinoceros.

They ones from the rubbishy protestant churches are always jealous as they never feature in movies fighting the forces of evil. Or if they do, they get fucked.

Trump indirectly caters to Catholics and the Vatican for their votes and acceptance...he needs their money and support to help his political agendas. Simply, he's been kissing their asses for many years even after they clashed multiple times about his policies towards immigrants, migrants, and ethnic minorities....more so now while Trump is married to an immigrant (two wives were immigrants but without the brown skin) and meddling into to politics, religion in Europe.

Trump is not the issue. It's been a pattern for many past U.S. Presidents needing the support of the Vatican because the Pope is a big part of Europe and other countries.

The mocking will be costly in the short term but if it lingers...it will become an issue in the mid-terms when Trump will again need their support while he pretends to be "religious". Fortunately for Trump, America has shown they are very OK with electing a convicted rapist in civil courts and a convicted felon 34x as their President.

Sadly, that means Trump is above the law and above religion. :(

Thus, as once suggested by lawyers of Trump...he can murder someone in the streets and it would be consider legal while others doing the same would be convicted because they're not the President of the United States.

Simply, the Vatican is no worst than Donald Trump as one historian once said about the differences between Hitler and the Vatican. Keep in mind that Trump won 90% of voters who believe abortion should be illegal.

Did Trump damage his image with those voters while he trolls the Vatican...same voters who have accepted Trump's 34x convicted felonies ???

We'll find out in the mid-terms.

Regardless, we all know why Trump did it with posting that AI generated image on Truth Social.

It's because he was chastised at the Popes funeral in front of other world leaders and government dignitaries. Trump was embarrassed and wanted revenge...trolling the Vatican is Trump's way or only way of exacting revenge on the Vatican for their criticism of Trump's policies since his first term.

Trump has been an online troll who will go after anyone who mocks him. More so in his 2nd term in comparison to his 1st term that often results in pain for Americans in which he recently stated "I do not care" as if he's immature.

Trump's eldest wife Ivana was a Catholic. He finally got around to her grave, seems a big enough slab to keep her under.. This is NOT the gravestone of a Catholic lacking even a crucifix engraving.

Like organised religion or not, it's a system of control and order, older perhaps and always parallel to politics.

As of 2025, approximately 44% of U.S. Catholic registered voters identify with or lean toward the Democratic Party, while 52% align with or lean toward the Republican Party.

  10. We are all fools if we continue to believe some politician or priest is going to save us. No government, no organized religion will bring us salvation. Any honest assessment would bring one to the conclusion that America peaked some time ago and our best days are behind us. We're not the good guys.
