I disagree. I think he was referring to the media..... The US gov't prevented the media from snooping too deeply into Benghazi. OTOH, the media had complete, unfettered access to Sterling's entire personal and business lives...
[/I] I agree 100%. The league had to step in to stop the bleeding, they did not step in because they are crusaders against racism....nigga please
Ok. At any rate, the NBA listened to the tape, determined it was indeed Sterling speaking, and asked him to confirm it, which he did. The media made the general public aware of his racism in a big way, but they were not necessary to the investigation. But because the media was part of the Great Benghazi Conspiracy, they never should have reported the story in the first place. ; )
Who cares what an 80 year old whore mongering racist billionaire and his billionaire club do. I don't care if he keeps his team, gets to buy two more teams or is fined millions of dollars. Why care?
You and I don't need to care (beyond grist for the mill), of course, but the people who stand to lose money over the incident care.
I'm really hoping Sterling goes scorched earth and fights this whole thing to the bitter end. Let the players strike and halt league play or whatever. Who cares. I'm waiting for the day when someone will stand up to the black grievance industry and tell them to jump in a lake.
Who cares what a 56 year old red neck racist roofer loser and his illegal Mexicans do? I don't care if he keeps his illegal Mexicans, gets to rent two more Mexicans for the day or is fined a couple of saw bucks. Why care?
