  2. Last year I paid $1700 to hear recordings of his so called trading method which he shared with his first traders group. It was the biggest disappointment. It was basically a fire side chit chat. Lot of talk about poker, psychology etc.. but none in terms of set ups and execution.

I was so much impressed by his talk of giving money to charity and his conviction about his sincere desire to share his knowledge so that other fake educators are driven out of business that i signed up for 7K educational program. At last minute , i decided to first listen to his words of wisdom which he had shared with his first group of traders for $1700 and stopped listening to recorded sessions after 1 hour.

Miller appears to be an expert snake oil vendor. He is very good at selling and marketing himself on the internet, and he uses all the best confidence tricks, spin and bullshitting techniques.

The guy has made a million+, trading futures the last 3 years.

Who else on this board can say that????.... you guys are like yappy dogs barking at nothing.

Oh, wait, this ET, of course, everyone makes 50k per week and trades from the beach, and of course thats not even counting my "long term" account where i make millions and called every macro movement since 1981,,, "When Borsellino, bot the bottom tick from Soros on the 87' crash, i bot the next offer, yeah, i swear!!!".

If your successful, you arent jealous of another successful person.

So he sells shit, good, who gives a crap. He is a bussnessman. Thats how we should be treating our trading.

I dont trade like, him, i never zoom in lower than 15minutes, but his pysch talk and transparency, i can respect.

Bring the flaming on, little dogs,,that is , if you can, drink your daquiris and trade at the beach at the same time.....yeahhhhh,,, i call BS.

    EF :D :D :D

  8. fwiw: I think Don Miller structured the greatest self-marketing strategy this industry has ever seen: from day one in his blog until present... every minute of which was carefully planned and well thought out way in advance.

I think he can be hypocritical at times about the whole "full-disclosure" thing when no one in public has ever seen more than a glimpse of his personal trading results.

So that's part of what I think. I do think he has a right to espouse his personal religious beliefs any way he deems fit. I also think he trades real money in real time, which makes him part of our fraternal brotherhood.

And I don't think ANY serious trader would EVER wish for another to lose his/her account from circumstances outside their control.

I think that every single poster (with zero exceptions) in this public message board who is afraid to post real-time trade results are paper-trade wannabes whose opinion means less than nothing about anything else.

That's pretty much what I think

    FWIW,

Showing an NT price ladder that is not in sim mode does not mean that you're connected to a real account. For example, you can connect live to an IB sim trading account and the ladder will look like you're trading with a real account.

Smart people don't share statements of income with total strangers, unless they either have self-esteem / ego issues or are trying to use that as bait to get into YOUR pocket in other ways.
