Why everyone who likes Don sounds like a sorry apologist in a political debate? Look, we don't dislike him, we are trying to analyze his teaching effort in an intelligent matter.* If someone gets facts wrong, you are welcomed to correct it. But stop being offended by criticism and analysis.

Now personally I remembered $8 return per contract, so from now on we will go with your qutoe of $5.6

Your other quote also means that a retail trader (assuming perfectly being able to copy Don) would get only $4 or so per contract on average. That is a rather small number and one need to swing lots of contracts to make a meaningful profit.

My other observation is that the he seems to be jumping in and out of positions all the time. That might be fine for certain individuals, but I think it is rather hard to teach/copy. Time will tell how he succeeds at it.

  4. During the gold rush, it was those who sold shovels, groceries and equipments to miner wannabes who made the money.

Don has shown a lot of class the way he has used some personal attacks on the Elite Trader forum to motivate himself.

Phenomenal trading performance in 2008 in terms of total numbers and consistency.

And a great blog too, I would suggest anyone serious about trading takes a look at some of the free but valuable information contained in it.

And if you don't agree with his approach to trading, so what? Find something else to do on your PC in your mom's basement.

  8. 6 Posts and falling all over Don's feet. Others like that in this thread. Sorry, but you have no traction until you learn how to think independently and not sound like his Parrot...

It's pretty obvious that the shill is desperate to follow behind Don and his 2 tic scalps (ROF), and will say and do anything to protect his "mentor", LMAO.

I never knew traders could be so sad and pathetic. :p
